Hello! This was very good! Such a small but excellent little story/experience. The twists were fun and exciting, the combat felt punchy and the animation/art looks very skillful.

Thank you again for sharing this.

Really good, its a challenge!

I really think the first mage boss needs to have damage states to its projectiles rather than 1 shot you if they hit. The second stage where she doubles the amount of shots is really difficult, and frankly speaking not fun whatsoever. Especially considering the random direction change the orbs do. Really killed my enjoyment of the game unfortunately.

Yeah I didn't have a lot of time to balance the difficulty of the final boss.  The orbs aren't random though, they curve in a predictable pattern.  If you set the "enemies" option to "easy", it'll skip the second phase of the fight, so you can see the ending.

I loved it!

Thanks for letting me know!

I still can't get over how much the sounds in this game made my enjoyment go all the way up. And for how difficult it was I thought the default checkpointing was pretty fair. Well done.

Please link it a bit more statically with a bit softer glibc requirements… XD wine works tho, so at least there’s that

Sorry, I haven't figured out how to do static linking with SDL yet, because wherever I look for instructions they say "don't" or "just compile the whole dang thing from source".  I'll give it some more looks though.  Thanks for playing!
